Jade Cargill Explains 'Natural Heel' Persona and Reflects on Championship Reign
Former WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill appeared on 'The Rich Eisen Show' to discuss her persona, her signature catchphrase, and her recent championship run, explaining why she believes she is a 'natural heel.'
Former WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill recently appeared on "The Rich Eisen Show" to discuss her in-ring persona, her career milestones, and her perspective on being a natural heel.
Cargill's signature catchphrase, which has been with her since her days in AEW, is that she's "that b****." On the microphone, she consistently backs up this statement with her performances. Initially, Cargill debuted in WWE as a babyface, aligning herself with Naomi and Bianca Belair as part of the prominent faction known as the "Big Three." However, Cargill officially transitioned to a heel role in October, marking the change by attacking Tiffany Stratton on WWE SmackDown.
During her appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show," Cargill elaborated on her belief that she is a natural heel. To emphasize her point, she delivered a heelish promo live on air.
I'm a natural heel. People hate what they can't be. You get what I'm saying? I look good. I smell good. I mean, I'm one of one. Nobody has a body like mine and this is year round, this is not just for a season, a competition or whatever you want to call it. I'm just naturally blessed and I'm gorgeous, by the way, so it's not just about the body, it's about the face, as well. There's no woman who looks like me, regardless of how hard they work. I'm just God given. It is what it is... My haters keep me paid. Good or bad, people talking about me, I'm still going to trend.
Championship Pursuit and Reign
Following her heel turn in October, Cargill immediately set her sights on the WWE Women's Championship, challenging then champion Tiffany Stratton. Cargill successfully captured the title at Saturday Night's Main Event in early November.
Jade Cargill held the WWE Women's Championship through WWE WrestleMania 42. At WWE WrestleMania 42, she lost the title to Rhea Ripley. Cargill then had an opportunity to reclaim the championship in a rematch at Clash in Italy, where she was unsuccessful in defeating Ripley.
